Believe it or not, there are actually items you can get from other people for free online. Freecycle.org and Gumtree.com (for UK residents) are sites dedicated to people who want to give away stuff they no longer want. These sites operate per city so you don’t have to spend too much shipping. Simply look for your town, city or county and search for the items you need. If there’s someone giving away something you need, just contact them and visit their place to pick up the item.
